Ever get bored of doing the same thing week after week? Same. On a beautiful summer day off, my go to activity is a quick trip up to Bash Bish Falls in Copake, NY.
Take the scenic route on NY-22 or zip up on the Taconic, the drive is a little over an hour and totally worth it. Bash Bish has a short ¾ mile semi-challenging hike leading up to a beautiful 200ft waterfall. Bring the kids, dogs, picnic, you name it. Something about the fresh upstate air and misty water has me coming back year after year.
Trust me, if you haven’t been, put it on your bucket list! Oh, and grab some ice cream at any Stewart’s Shop you find on your way back home (mint cookie crumble is my fav).
